The Cathedral congregations represent a diverse, multicultural and multilingual community.
Our Cathedral congregations are comprised of four worshiping communities, each with distinctive identity and characteristics.
Our Church by the Pond congregation host services at Bushnell Park on Saturdays at 2 p.m. Our parishioners at this services are primarily guests of our feeding program. They participate in worship leadership and some also participate as part of our Sunday 10 am congregation.
On Sundays, we have three congregations, our 8 am congregation is a lively small group who prefers an informal worship setting, using Rite II. A Bible Study is offered following the service.
Our 10 am congregation participates in worship in the context of a choral Eucharist. The Cathedral Choir serves faithfully to this community with superb music. This congregation in actively engage in various ministries.
Our 12:30 p.m. congregation is comprised of a Latino/Hispanic community. Services are held in Spanish. We are blessed with outstanding Latino heritage music. This congregation meets once a week for Home Bible Study.
We host several bilingual services throughout the year, combining our 8 a.m, 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. congregations. These combined services are an opportunity to celebrate our diversity and rejoice in God’s love.
In January, our congregations jointly coordinate and host the traditional Three Kings Pageant.
