It is with a profound sense of joy and expectation that I share with you the news of the appointment of Jorge Pallares as our new Canon for Congregational Life. Canon Pallares’ s first Sunday at our Cathedral will be June 10th.
I am thankful to the Holy Spirit for guiding us in this process and to Canon Pallares for accepting my invitation to serve at our Cathedral.
Special thanks to the Search Advisory Committee, Bishop Douglas and Canon Tolzmann for their wisdom and support in this journey.
Jorge will bring a deep sense of pastoral care, outstanding listening skills and experience in a diverse and bilingual context. I am confident that his presence and ministry will enrich our community.
Please join me in welcoming Canon Pallares. A Celebration of New Ministry will take place on Sunday, July 22 at 10:30 a.m. in the context of our combined service.
