The Rev. Lois keen







The Rev. Lois Keen is a graduate in literature and history from the University of Delaware. She began in ministry as a layperson taking courses in pastoral listening at a local hospital in Delaware to help her family through a difficult time. She then joined the pastoral care team of her congregation, sharing rotation with the clergy in visiting hospitals and nursing homes. In 1997 Lois received her Master of Divinity degree from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary. She has served congregations in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, and is currently Priest-in-Charge at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wethersfield. Lois also leads quiet days and retreats and serves as chaplain for the Hartford Chapter of the Society of the Companions of the Holy Cross. She has been a volunteer on-call hospital chaplain in Delaware, and a per-diem hospice chaplain in Connecticut. Lois and her spouse, Newlin, live in Bethany, Connecticut. They enjoy fast cars, watching Formula 1 Grand Prix Racing, bird watching, gardening, and singing.
